LA NUIT DES JEUNES is one of the most high profile and respected events in the HMI, as it has been for several years now. The man on top of the food chain of JAZ ENTERPRISE, EVENS BLAISE and his remarkable team have always set the bar/standard in terms of how an HMI event SHOULD BE DONE, and this past weekend they did not disappoint.

The group transformed AMAZURA into their own little world to put the 2012 edition of LNDJ in the books. The place was very well put together, nicely decorated, with the right amount of pizzaz to make you feel that this event was special. The lineup was one of the strongest, with the hottest band in the HMI right now in the Haitian market NU LOOK, making an appearance, and also with the hottest hit of the moment represented by the DEKOLE crew of JPERRY, SHABBA, and Izolan. Oh yes, IZOLAN is also the most popular Rap Kreyol artist in the business right now, so that also helped from a marketing standpoint.

We MUST APPLAUD the LNDJ crew for doing an excellent job with what they had.....but I must keep it real and say IT JUST WASN'T THE SAME LNDJ that we are all accustomed to....ONLY BECAUSE OF THE PLACE.
